Special Education Needs

Anna Livia will be welcoming to all students, regardless of learning abilities.

The school will endeavour to acquire learning profiles for all incoming students prior to entry so that students with special educational needs can be identified and planning for their individual needs can take place well in advance of their entry into the school.

The learner-centred principle of our ethos dictates that every student’s individual learning needs must be considered in all decisions and policies. Differentiated teaching and learning methodologies are therefore the norm and support, where possible, is provided in the mainstream.
